Image Pixelator & Censor Tool
Censor sensitive information or create retro 8-bit art. Pixelate faces, license plates, or entire images locally in your browser.
Privacy and Retro Aesthetics
Whether you need to blur out a face for privacy reasons or you want to give a modern photo a retro video-game aesthetic, the Image Pixelator does it instantly. By dividing the image into blocks and averaging the colors, it permanently obscures details. Because it runs locally, you can safely censor sensitive documents without uploading them.
Why Use Our Image Pixelator?

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Pixelation is a 'destructive' process. Once the image is pixelated and downloaded, the original detail is permanently lost and cannot be recovered from that file.
This tool pixelates the entire image. For targeted censoring, look for our upcoming 'Selective Blur' tool.
All file processing is performed locally in your web browser. We do not upload, store, or view your data.
